Purpose

The purpose of a quality assurance system is to ensure that all products manufactured and supplied meet Kosan Crisplant's specifications in full. This applies to all aspects of quality, product quality, on-time delivery, correct quantities and all other services. This also involves ensuring that all suppliers live up to Kosan Crisplant’s high standards. Only by ensuring that every link of the chain is equally strong, Kosan Crisplant can maintain these standards and continue to operate as a reliable partner.

Quality Assurance also implies recording and analysing the causes of any errors that may occur, and to allow Kosan Crisplant to locate, correct and prevent such errors.

Key Concepts

Quality, excellent workmanship and care are key concepts at Kosan Crisplant. All employees are carefully trained and fully informed about the group quality policy. Kosan Crisplant also works to influence attitudes among both employees and partners to achieve understanding of Kosan Crisplant’s objectives and the need for shared efforts.

Policies

Kosan Crisplant’s policy is to maintain core business including product research and development, design, procurement, engineering, service etc. at our international headquarters and factory in Denmark. This means that the group itself possesses all know-how, which makes Kosan Crisplant less dependent on sub suppliers.

It is also Kosan Crisplant’s policy to procure high quality standard components from excellent top qualified sub suppliers.

Internal Procedures

Every activity derives directly from requirements for quality, excellent workmanship and care. This naturally applies to product deliveries - but the services associated with the pre-sale stage, project management and installation, as well as subsequent service and maintenance, are also carried out in accordance with a set of fixed internal procedures laid down in The KC Business Manual and Quality Handbook™.

Kosan Crisplant regularly visits selected suppliers and critically analyses all vital production processes. These analyses ensure that all components are made to Kosan Crisplant ‘s specifications and thoroughly checked before delivery.

Documentation

Kosan Crisplant has established a series of follow-up systems. A project group consisting of technical personnel from different departments actively carries out "product follow-up procedures" on new products and evaluates the need for improvements on the basis of feedback from commissioned products. The conclusions drawn by the project group are used to correct production and, if necessary, the commissioned products themselves.
