Infographics
LNG and LBG are both cleaner and more cost-efficient fuels than many other alternatives. The infographics on this site present interesting features and stories about these liquefied green gases by mixing facts and visuals into one image. And perhaps they will even reveal a detail or two that you did not know before.
What is LBG?
LBG is short for liquefied biogas – a highly compact and effective energy source that is already part of the carbon circulation. As a fuel it burns cleanly and helps protect our climate.

Fun facts about LNG
Did you know that cooling down natural gas to 162°C makes it liquid and thereby LNG? We are Kosan Crisplant's LNG division, and on their LinkedIn page, they have posted some fun facts about LNG.
Emission reductions with LNG
In comparison with HFO (heavy fuel oil), coal and diesel, LNG emits significantly lower amounts of CO2, SOX and NOX into the atmosphere. That makes it the most environmentally friendly fossil fuel.
Liquefaction: cooling down natural gas
When natural gas is cooled down to 162°C (-259°F), it becomes liquid - and it is then known as LNG. Of course, the process involves more than that, but being cool is the essence of liquefaction.
