Mobile, high-capacity LNG bunkering solution

The number of new vessels using LNG as fuel is on the rise and hence the need for ports in Europe that have permanent LNG bunker facilities is increasing. A fully established trans-European maritime infrastructure in the LNG area as we know it from the conventional fuels is, however, still far from a reality. In the long run, it will undoubtedly be parallel with the demand. But until then, there will be a demand for a mobile and flexible high-capacity bunker solution for the constantly growing number of LNG-operated vessels.

Kosan Crisplant now has a solution that accommodates the need of the port customers for high-capacity LNG bunkering on an ad hoc basis until the volume in demand can justify investing in a permanent installation, and it is called 'Movable Multiple Truck-to-Ship Bunkering'.
